Mexico

In the middle of November, around 20 of us took the 4-5 hour drive to Puerto Penasco.  We partnered with a church there and worked with different ministries they are involved in - from building houses to working in food banks to medical clinics to feeding families in the barrios.  Oh, and lots of soccer!

This little guy's name is Jesus.  Adorable.

Two of my favorite little boys.

Of course...you have to get the jumping picture.  =)

Pato, pato, ganso!

We were all racing around picking up trash...this little boy came in with the last piece.

They made a game compiled of football, soccer, and rugby.

One of my favorite pictures from the trip.

This little boy liked to stand around throwing rocks at me...so I snagged a picture, catching him in the act.

Of course, you cannot go to Mexico and not get tacos!  We had steak tacos and pork tacos.  Delicious.

One morning, we went and made breakfast for a large group of people at a church service that was put on by the church we were working with.

I distracted him from the singing...

We lead the children in a VBS, with a story and crafts.

This is a sweet memory from the trip... Deanna was feeling very sick and nauseous, so this little girl came over and prayed for her.  It put a smile back on Deanna's face for sure.

Final touches on the house!

The crew! (minus myself)
