I took this in the mountains of Panama when we stayed with the Ngobe Indigenous tribe for a few days this past summer. The mountains were so beautiful, just as the people living there. Most of them had never been down the mountain and only knew this 'simple' lifestyle. I wonder how shocking it would be for them to come to my hometown, with all the 'things' to have and media out there, that they live without. We showed a video at a church, therefore I had my computer, and one woman came up to me in awe. She had never seen a computer and wanted me to show her it. At first, I did not know what to show her - bring up photoshop to manipulate photos? Final Cut to edit videos? Itunes to play music? Hard to explain in another language. So I went simple and showed her a picture of my dog, which she seemed overjoyed to see. It was an amazing experience to live with this tribe and see their culture.

This photograph is from Colon, Panama, from our travels this summer through Central America. I miss my team and talking with people through out the different cities. This man is a homeless man who told us of his joy and hope that he is finding in Christ, despite his circumstances.
