Colorado 1

I flew up to Colorado a few weeks ago, one of those trips you decide to do at the last minute.  I went for two weeks (hitting a Grassroots News International seminar and seeing friends and family whom I have not seen in a while).
It was an amazing trip.  Colorado is a beautiful state, with gorgeous mountains to beautiful people.  If you have never been - I highly recommend it.  Great deals from Phx to Denver on Southwest  =)

From what I learned, the weather always keeps you guessing - starting with a nice sunny day on the bikes, to us getting stuck in a rain/snow storm...

Here is downtown on 16th Street Mall.

Downtown is filled with all types of people and, animals.

I went to CO Springs for a few days, where we visited the Garden of the Gods.

This is pretty awesome.

Can you see the Kissing Camels?

Back in Denver, I hit Washington Park, where I saw some lovely wildlife....

Took a walk down Pearl Street in Boulder.
I loved this dogs eyes.

I visited family in Lyons, CO, and did some hiking around the area.

We went to Sprague Lake, in the Rocky Mountain National Park, where we were almost blown over by the powerful winds.

It was so beautiful there, would love to head back there in the fall!

Spencer and Lacie - A Sibling Shoot

Spencer is a senior at Shadow Mountain, graduating in a few weeks.  He is a baseball player and will continue playing in college in the fall.

This is Lacie, his younger sister, who is also an athlete at Shadow Mountain.

Congratulations on graduating and good luck in your baseball career!
